How long does an install take?
The number of hours required varies greatly with specifics of each project, but usually the install can be completed in one day.
How do I clean my countertop?
It is best to use soap & water for day-to-day use. Please do not use any harsh chemicals or bleach.
Who will remove my old countertops, sink and faucet?
Countertops can remove and haul away your existing countertops, sink, and faucet for an additional fee .
Do I have to have my cabinets cleaned out for install?
Yes, we do require your lower cabinets to be completely cleared out with drawers removed so our field technicians have access to the underside of the countertops.
For larger projects like kitchens, whole slabs are necessary to provide color and pattern consistency, especially when seams are involved. Remnants are usually best used for smaller projects like bath vanity tops.
Can hot objects be placed directly or permanently on Quartz countertops?
No! Hot pots, or other overheated appliances taken directly from the stovetop or oven, microwave oven, etc. may cause damage to the surface of Quartz. Use a pot mount with rubber feet or place a heat shield on the countertop.
Can I use Quartz countertops as cutting boards?
NO! When cutting vegetables, please cushion the cutting board, although the Quartz countertop is solid and durable, but this will also leave scratches and blunt the knife. If accidentally left knife marks, according to the depth of knife marks, use 180-400 sandpaper light wipe surface, and then wipe with a scouringpad.
Why Quartz surfaces should be kept as dry as possible?

Why be restricted to exposure of harsh chemicals to Quartz surfaces?
Quartz are resistant to long-lasting injuries, but still need to avoid contact with strong chemicals such as depainting agents, metal cleaning agents, stove cleaners. Do not come into contact with methyl chlorides, acetone (nail remover), and strong acid cleaners. If you accidentally come into contact with the above items, immediately rinse the countertop surface with a large amount of soapy water. If you have nail polish, use acetone-free cleaning agent (e.g. tianna water, alcohol) and wash with water. Do not allow heavy or sharp objects to hit the surface directly: do not rinse with cold water and then boil water immediately.
How to remove most of the smudges and dirt from the Quartz surface?
Wash with soapy water or a detergent containing ammonia (e.g. detergent).
How to remove water mark on the surface of Quartz?
Use a damp cloth to remove the scale and then wipe it with a dry cloth.
How to remove the knife marks, burns and scratches on Quartz?
If it is a matte finish, polish with sandpaper until the knife marks disappear, then restore it to its original condition with a detergent and a cleaning cloth. If the finish of the countertop is mirror, polish the table with sandpaper, then polish the table with polishing wax and wool polishing hoist at low speed, and then clean the table surface with a clean cotton cloth. Moisturize the surface with cooking oil and a dry cloth.
Can Quartz countertops be refurbished?
The table may has scratches due to different reasons. Please consult professional and technical personnel for the grinder polishing, and then polishing with the polishing machine.
